This is the first volume of Lower Intermediate. Its contents involve many aspects, such as family life, facing the frustrations, wild animal protection, neighborhood relationship, burdens for primary school students and economic life etc. The students can learn over 300 new words, 51 key words or grammar, 26 commonly-used morphemes and over 100 relevant words, 25 sets of synonym discriminations and nearly 20 idioms.
